Restoration - XK140 FHC 804171 - Current
We have serviced and maintained this XK140 coupe for many years for a long time customer and he has decided to give the old girl the treatment it deserves. We rebuilt the engine back in 1997.

With the car carefully dismantled, boxed up and labelled, the body and panels were off to the dippers. We steam cleaned the chassis for assessment. |

All is revealed! 50+ years has taken it's toll with rust in the usual places and bad repairs in the usual places as well. The sills, floors, shut faces and boot floors will all need to be replaced along with a lot of other rust and damage repairs. |

The chassis was stripped down and sandblasted. The front had been modified and there was some rust and damage that needed to be sorted out before the body could be remounted for repair. |
