Restoration - XK120 FHC 669181 - Current
| This late XK120FHC is one of only 194 Right Hand Drive XK120 coupe's produced and has come to us for a total restoration to Concours standard. The car has a full history and was being restored back in the '80's and was never finished. |
|
| Loading up 669181 in Queensland as a rolling chassis with body fitted onto the car trailer and the rest of the car was loaded into the ute and bought back to the workshop in Tuggerah for a full, Concours restoration. |

We removed the body and sent it for beadblasting and then removed the remaining components from the chassis and sent it for beadblasting also. The chassis came back in perfect condition and was simply set level in the workshop ready for the body to be refitted. |

The sandblasted and etch primed chassis. No repairs needed. |

| With the body refitted to the chassis, all lead was removed from the body and a full assessment could be made. Unfortunately, all of the work performed by a previous repairer was either incorrect of not to a suitable standard so this, along with a lot of other additional areas of the body require replacing. First step was to make a new battery box area and new inner rear wheel arches. |
