Mechanically, this E Type is going to be awesome! The rear end will feature a Quaife LSD, 3.31 ratio, aluminium GAZ externally adjustable shocks, uprated coil springs, vented rear discs and an uprated swaybar. The front end will see uprated torsion bars, big swaybar, GAZ shocks and standard vented brakes (but this may need to change!)

| Stay tuned to this page as the engine comes together. The combination we will be using is a 7.3 litre stroker kit with a brand new crank, custom rods and custom forged pistons. A high volume oil pump, baffled sump and a full flow oil cooler will be fitted. The heads will be CNC ported and fitted with larger stainless valves and big cams. 6 x 40IDA Webers will sit on top and it will be fired with a crane ignition system. The goal is 500hp. A lightweight race alternator and power steering pump will also be fitted. |

| The original doors were very rusty so in keeping with the very fast road car theme, complete new aluminium doors were fitted to save weight. |

|
|
|
| Then to complete the bodywork, a brand new aluminium bonnet to save a considerable amount of weight, at the front of the car. |

Whilst the bodywork was nearing completion, the mechanics were working away getting sub assemblies completed. These pictures show the differential being assembled with an alloy rear cover, vented disc rotors and modified callipers then the completed rear end ready for installation.

With the bodyshell finished we turned it upside down fro priming then inside the boot and cabin.
